Solid Carbide Insert Replacement Knives
What is meant by knives for milling cutters?
These are all those knives that are used to insert interchangeable wood cutters into your wood cutters. They are all made of carbide (HW or HM) and can be straight or shaped. Straight cutting edges are used to make grooves (can be planted inside the wood) or to be inserted into the cutter to trim a crop. On the contrary, contoured cutting edges are used to make a template, i. e. a radius, chamfer or any geometric shape other than "straight".
How do I recognize those carbide and steel carbide?
The carbide ones, unlike the steel ones, are much heavier and have a shiny finish. The carbide is now a fixed and strong point of knife milling, and the knives for milling cutters, especially those for the electro-milling machine, are all made of carbide (excellent material for everything). Steel knives, in addition to weighing and costing less (compared with carbide), are mainly used for customised "special" knives for moulder or moulding cutters. Steel has a lower seal than the widia (carbide) but has an excellent finish and a smooth final milled finish; this is only true if you take a wood without knots, smooth and above all not too hard. For all the others, I strongly recommend the carbide.
How are they used?
FR. 811 - REVERSIBLE COLTELINES 2 STANDARD KEYS - Carbide
Classic straight knives used in the 2 cutting cutter - those with the longest straight side used to make a canal (if you enter from the side because you do not have the cutting edge in the "head", the one suitable for drilling) or better than everyone to use it with the cutter to trim.
FR. 812 / FR. 812L / FR. 814 REVERSIBLE COLTELS 4 STANDARD KEYS - carbide
Like the knives above - FR-811 - apart from the 4 knives they have 4 cutting edges, then they also cut in the head and tail part, i. e. in the shorter sides to avoid making it complicated. The 814 have the cross because it is inserted in a certain type of cutter (it acts as seat and stop)
FR. 813 - REVERSIBLE COLTELS 4 DESTRICAL KEYS - Carbide
Classic 4 cutting knives with a sharp, cut-optimized head. The right-hand inclination will make it easier for you to get into the wood and will have a better waste during processing.
FR. 815 / FR. 815R - REVERSIBLE COLTELINES 4 EQUILATER CUTTINGS - Carbide
Knives used to be inserted mainly in the heads for moulder moulder adjustable and not, are fixed on the sides and when they do not cut better, instead of sharpening or throwing them, then turn them up to 4 times. The R version, simply makes the channel in the wood slightly "radiated" on the sides according to the degree of inclination you choose.
FR. 816 - REVERSIBLE'' STANDARD STANDARD'' BOTTLE'' REVERSIBLE COLLECTIONS 2 KNIVES - Carbide
Used for a milled or slightly curved trim, also used on a multi cutting edge planing system
FR. 817 - REVERSIBLE INNCISORS COLLECTIONS 4 KNIVES - Carbide
Engraving knives used to cut the workpiece into the spindle moulder cutters before milling with another knife, is used to make the cutting edge work better, avoiding burns and strings.
FR. 818 - REVERSIBLE 30° STANDARD TRIANGLE FOLLERS - Carbide
Special knives used for engraving or triangular bearing cutters.
FR. 819 / FR. 820 - Reversible knives for shaving or chamfering - Carbide
819 used in spindle moulder heads for racking or chamfering, 820 instead fits into a reversible spindle cutter for electro-milling or CNC milling or CNC machines
